Teman Bicara Mobile
Teman Bicara is a mobile application for mental-health tracking, emotional journaling, AI-assisted support, and professional consultation. My team and I developed it to bring these forms of support into one accessible experience.

Overview
Teman Bicara (which translates to "Talking Friend") is a comprehensive mobile application acting as a personal mental health companion. It serves as an assignment project for a Software Engineering study program. The app provides a safe space for users to track, express, and manage their emotional well-being through several core features:
- AI Mental Tracking: Users can log their daily metrics (such as mood, sleep quality, stress levels, daily steps, and screen time). The app then generates AI-based daily and weekly mental health insights based on these inputs.
- AI Chatbot: It features an integrated AI friend that provides instant emotional support and someone to talk to whenever the user needs it.
- Journaling: A personal space for users to create private journal entries, complete with titles, text, and optional image attachments.
- Professional Consultations: Users can filter, book, and easily manage consultation sessions with certified mental health experts directly in the app.
- Curated Content: A library of mental health articles created by certified counselors to educate and guide users.
- Authentication & Profiles: Secure registration/login using OTP verification, complete with user profile management.
The challenge
Mental-wellness activities such as mood tracking, journaling, emotional support, and professional consultation are often handled through separate services. The project required a centralized platform that could securely manage personal records, provide timely support, and support consultation payments and bookings.
My role
I built and operated the backend behind Teman Bicara. I designed its API architecture, implemented the main user and consultation workflows, and integrated AI and payment services. I also managed asynchronous transaction processing and automated production deployments to Azure.
